Propulsion Engineer, Chamber and Nozzle (Raptor)

📋 Description

• Own Raptor chamber and nozzle hardware, parts and assemblies
• Collaborate with technicians and manufacturing to streamline production
• Interface with Texas teams for hot-fire tests and flight
• Review designs/analysis for operating requirements and part history
• Own anomaly investigations and drive closure with teams
• Collaborate on block upgrades to improve mass, cost, reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, and/or PM experience
• Master’s degree in engineering (preferred)
• System-level understanding of liquid rocket propulsion (preferred)
• Thermal-structural analysis and failure modes knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with CAD NX including drafting and GD&T (preferred)
