Propulsion Engineer (Raptor Combustion Devices)

📋 Description

• Own combustor hardware development from concept to flight operations.
• Drive design changes for reliability and performance.
• Coordinate a team and collaborate with engineers on hardware.
• Develop test requirements and participate early in life-cycle tests.
• Analyze test/flight data; make go/no-go decisions on hardware.
• Own anomaly reviews from data to hardware teardown.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in mechanical, aerospace, or astronautical engineering
• 1+ years in rocket/jet hardware design, analysis, or experiments
• 3+ years in jet/rocket engines or high‑pressure fluids
• Proficiency in compressible/incompressible flow and combustion
• Experience with CAD (Siemens NX or SolidWorks)
• Experience enabling manufacturing processes and GD&T
• Analytical programming in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
