Propulsion Mechanic

📋 Description

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, install and test gas turbine and propulsion systems
• Perform gas turbine engine maintenance and repair requirements
• Hands-on cleaning and inspections; report findings
• Propulsion availability recovery leadership
• Prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs and safety
• Plan and execute preventative, preventive, and emergent maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High School Degree Required
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• 7+ years maintenance/repair on air-cushion vehicles, aircraft, or Navy systems
• 5+ years supervising maintenance on air-cushion vehicles/aircraft
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and system readiness
• J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, NAVSEA welding, NDT familiarity
• Navy 3-M Preventative Maintenance Program experience
• Excellent communication; project mgmt; MS Office
