Propulsion Technician, Raptor Chamber and Nozzle Assembly

📋 Description

• Clean, prepare and assemble combustion chamber assemblies and sub-assemblies for welding or brazing.
• Follow procedures, specifications and test instructions.
• Operate DAVI roll former, automated TIG welding machine, hydro-forming sheet metal.
• Run automated surface preparation or thermal barrier coating processes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings; follow detailed work instructions.
• Use precision tools – torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of experience working on aircraft or rocket engines
• 5+ years of aerospace engines experience
• A&P license
• Knowledge of pressure, temp and flow devices; mechanical/electrical systems
