📋 Description

  • Conduct, document, and present thermal analyses on Raptor hardware across flight phases.
  • Own thermal design from initial analysis to validation with ground tests and flight data.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to meet engine and vehicle objectives.
  • Validate models with test data and ensure predictions meet design criteria.
  • Support design, manufacturing, and reliability improvements and qualification of changes.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
  • 1+ years in thermal analysis (academic or professional).
  • Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or materials eng, or physics.
  • 2+ years in thermal analysis.
  • Experience with FEA; Thermal Desktop/ANSYS Workbench; travel for testing; extended hours.
  • Hands-on rocket/engine experience; able to perform hand calculations to validate models.
