Protein Purification & Expression Scientist

📋 Description

• Support small-scale (30 mL culture) screening of protein antigens and large-scale (5 L culture)
• Preparation of buffers, maintenance of instruments, tracking of work orders, sanitization of
• Hands-on support of the protein expression group is expected on occasion
• Collaborate with the protein characterization group, as well as other teams

🎯 Requirements

• BS with 3-5 plus years of work experience or MS with 1-2 years of laboratory experience in protein
• Demonstrated expertise in research-scale affinity-based FPLC purification chromatography
• Proven knowledge of affinity, charge-based, and size-exclusion protein separation techniques
• Proficiency in protein characterization (Bradford, UV-Vis, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting)
• Strong command of aseptic technique and sterile cell culture in biosafety cabinet
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely
