Prototyping Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, fabricate, and assemble flight-ready prototypes for Helsing’s drone platforms, including
• Modify airframes, build wiring harnesses, and integrate power and avionics for rapid iteration.
• Integrate flight control platforms (PX4/ArduPilot) and calibrate sensors; flash firmware and
• Plan and run functional and lifetime field tests; use telemetry to refine CAD models and prototypes.
• Collaborate with design/test teams to surface risks and deliver hardware solutions to keep

🎯 Requirements

• Experience taking unmanned aerial systems or complex mechanical/robotic systems from concept to
• Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks/PDM or Siemens NX/Teamcenter) with structural validation
• Hands-on workshop fabrication with composites, metals, 3D printing, hand tools, and soldering.
• Experience integrating/troubleshooting flight controllers and UAV payload/power systems.
• Comfort working with evolving requirements and taking end-to-end ownership of outcomes.
