Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Residency Program

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children.
• Develop personalized treatment plans; may prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with therapists on integrated treatment and med mgmt.
• Work from our Frederick, MD clinic up to 2 days/week.
• Meet with residency cohort and supervisor regularly.
• Provide education and consultation for patients and families.

🎯 Requirements

• National PMHNP certification.
• 12 of 40 weekly hours during peak after-school hours or weekends.
• Work in Frederick, MD clinic up to 3 days/week (as needed).
• Master’s in nursing (PMHNP) and recent grad or less than 1 year PMHNP experience.
• Active PMHNP license and DEA in Virginia (or on track to obtain).
• Post-residency, join for 2 years (total 3-year commitment).
