Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Residency Program

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis, creating personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals including psychotherapists on an integrated
• Work from the clinic in Manassas, VA 2 days onsite a week.
• Maintain a standard working schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Meet with residency cohort & supervisor to discuss progress and challenges on a routine basis.
• Provide education and consultation for patients and their families.

🎯 Requirements

• National certification of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• 12 of your 40 weekly hours are required to be during our peak “after school hours” defined as after
• Work in person at Manassas, VA clinic 2 days onsite a week.
• Maintain a standard working schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Master's degree from an accredited nursing program (PMHNP, Master’s in NP) and must have graduated
• Active PMHNP license and DEA in Virginia (or on track to receive it by the time residency begins).
