Public Policy and Government Affairs Manager, State/Local

📋 Description

• Develop and execute policy strategies in key U.S. state/local markets.
• Identify and track proposed bills and regulations; assess impact.
• Work with sales to drive policy-enabled adoption of Samsara tech.
• Build relationships with governors, mayors, legislators, regulators, and associations.
• Assist with filings, comments, testimony for legislative committees.
• Manage outside consultants to expand reach in key state markets.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in public policy or government roles in the US.
• Experience in state/local government affairs and advocacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multi-project management in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
