• Educate policymakers about Discord, privacy, and safety.
• Advocate on key state legislative and regulatory initiatives.
• Engage in public policy coalitions with peers and civil society.
• Monitor and analyze U.S. state policy developments.
• Create policy materials: position papers, talking points, briefs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Trust & Safety, Communications, Policy; gather input.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in government, public policy, or government relations.
• Deep insight into U.S. state policymaking.
• Ability to manage multi-year advocacy/public affairs programs.
• Experience with technology policy initiatives (online safety, privacy, or content moderation).
• Build trust and consensus across diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S.
