Public Policy Research Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee firm-wide research function and set research agenda
• Lead teams to ensure studies are sound, defensible, and actionable
• Design studies, supervise analysts, review deliverables, and brief clients

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in social science or equivalent research leadership experience
• 7–10 years directing applied policy research or evaluations
• Expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods, including causal inference and survey design
• Proficiency with at least one major stats package (R, Stata, SAS, SPSS, or Python)
• Excellent written/oral communication; ability to engage senior decision-makers
• U.S. work authorization; ability to pass federal background check
