• Lead communications strategy for Tokyo market, including product updates and response comms.
• Tell Waymo's story to external audiences in Tokyo, covering corporate, product, tech, and safety
• Build and maintain relationships with Japanese media, conference organizers, researchers, and
• Collaborate with Safety, Legal, Partnerships, Public Affairs, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and
• Develop talking points, FAQs, and presentations for executives.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in communications/public relations.
• Experience with media relations and event organizers in Tokyo.
• Proven ability to develop and execute communications strategy for product, business, and incident
• Very strong writing and communication skills.
• Fast-paced, highly collaborative environment; able to multi-task with high attention to detail.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English for diverse audiences.
