Python Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build high-performance Python backends (FastAPI)
• Develop RESTful APIs for data ingestion, transformation, and AI features
• Integrate backend with Azure data pipelines and databases with DevOps collaboration
• Manage schemas, write complex SQL, and support ETL with Python-based tools
• Build secure, scalable services with logging, authentication, and observability
• Implement async tasks and AI inference pipelines (PyTorch/TF/ONNX)

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Python backend development, with FastAPI or similar
• Strong REST API design, async programming, and web app architecture
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and Azure cloud services
• ETL workflows, job scheduling, and data pipeline orchestration (Airflow/Prefect)
• Experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, Transformers, OpenAI APIs) a plus
• Docker, CI/CD, and performance tuning
