QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and establish end-to-end QA strategy across web apps (JS/TS, WordPress).
• Design, build, maintain automated tests: end-to-end, UI, API, integration.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD with fast PR smoke tests and release validation.
• Establish test data strategy, mocks, parallel execution, and minimize flakiness.
• Develop performance/load testing for frontend, APIs, DB, infra (k6, Artillery, JMeter).
• Promote QA ownership, coach teams on testable code, QA-buddy practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years QA/test automation for modern web apps with leadership experience.
• Hands-on with Playwright or equivalent testing framework.
• Strong JS/TS skills to build automation, fixtures, and CI integrations.
• Frontend concepts, browser behavior, DOM, networks, auth, caching, selectors.
• Backend concepts: REST APIs, debugging, DBs for tests.
• API testing with Postman/Swagger; code-driven API checks.
