QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of QA activities within cross-functional product teams across the full development lifecycle.
• Design, execute, and maintain testing strategies for functional, UI, API, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Validate web apps across browsers, devices, and screen sizes for pixel-perfect user experiences.
• Test API endpoints, authentication, payload validation, error handling, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to set quality expectations early and promote shift-left testing.
• Create clear test cases, defect reports, and documentation to support efficient issue resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and semi-automated testing of web apps.
• At least 2 years of hands-on API testing, including auth, payload validation, and error handling.
• Proven experience testing payment platforms, fintech, or business-critical systems.
• Strong knowledge of Postman, Swagger, Chrome DevTools, SQL, and test management tools.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, frontend-backend interactions, and data validation.
• Experience performing responsive UI testing across browsers, OS, and devices.
