QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Own QA activities within cross-functional teams across the SDLC.
• Design, execute, and maintain testing strategies: functional, UI, API, regression.
• Validate web apps across browsers/devices for pixel-perfect UX.
• Test APIs including auth, payload validation, errors, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to set QA expectations; shift-left.
• Create reusable test cases, defect reports, and QA documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years manual and semi-automated testing of web apps.
• At least 2 years API testing including auth, payload validation, and errors.
• Experience testing payment platforms, financial apps, or transactional workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Postman, Swagger, Chrome DevTools, SQL, and TestRail or Xray.
• REST APIs, frontend-backend interactions, session management, data validation.
• Responsive UI testing across browsers/OS/devices.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and agile methods Scrum/Kanban.
• Excellent analytical skills; detail-oriented; focus on defects.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate in distributed teams.
