QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of QA activities within cross-functional teams across the lifecycle.
• Design, execute, and maintain testing across functional, UI, API, and regression.
• Validate web apps across browsers, devices, and screen sizes for pixel-perfect UX.
• Test API endpoints, authentication, payload validation, and error handling.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to define quality expectations early and promote shift-left testing.
• Create clear, reusable test cases, defect reports, and documentation for issue resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years manual and semi-automated testing of web apps.
• At least 2 years API testing, including authentication, payload validation, and error handling.
• Proven experience testing payment platforms or financial apps.
• Strong knowledge of Postman, Swagger, Chrome DevTools, SQL, and TestRail.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, frontend-backend interactions, session management, and data validation.
• Experience performing responsive UI testing across browsers, OS, and devices.
