QA Engineer (Remote)

📋 Description

• Design and build automated systems to find data quality issues, bugs, and regressions.
• Write scripts to detect anomalies and failures in large datasets.
• Collaborate with product to prioritize issues by impact; write or contribute fixes directly.
• Develop automated test coverage (unit/integration/E2E) for high-risk data areas.
• Collaborate with engineering to review data models, API contracts, and backend logic.
• Instrument quality metrics and build dashboards to monitor data health and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in QA/engineering focusing on quality or test automation.
• Strong Python for production scripts, automation, and data analysis.
• Experience with large datasets: SQL/NoSQL data, Postgres/Elasticsearch.
• Proven track record building automation to discover bugs/data issues.
• Able to read/modify production code; writes code, not just tests.
• Independent, able to prioritize quality backlog by impact.
