QA Engineer — Shopify Platform (Weekday Rotation)

📋 Description

• Monitor the live Shopify storefront, identifying functional bugs, broken experiences, visual
• Validate deployments, theme updates, Liquid template changes, and third-party app integrations
• Execute end-to-end manual and automated regression testing on desktop and mobile covering checkout
• Write and maintain structured test cases and perform cross-browser and cross-device validation
• Triage and document defects in ClickUp and GitHub Issues with clear reproduction steps, screenshots
• Collaborate directly with developers through GitHub issues and pull-request review comments

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA, software testing, or a closely related discipline
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem: Shopify Admin, themes, apps, metafields, and
• Proficiency with Shopify Liquid and the ability to read and understand template logic to
• Practical experience with GitHub: branches, pull requests, diffs, issue tracking, and code-review
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with technical depth to investigate storefront
• Experience writing structured manual test cases, conducting regression testing, triaging defects
