QA Lead

📋 Description

• Lead, hire, and develop QA Engineers (II/III) with 1:1s and reviews.
• Own QA in releases; track progress, unblock issues, ensure delivery.
• Own QA strategy across product areas; align coverage and governance.
• Oversee QA release process; enforce gates and sign-off before production.
• Drive automation roadmap; CI/CD integration to reduce regression.
• Build shift-left testing; coordinate QA planning for major releases.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in QA; 2–3 years in lead/senior QA with people management.
• Hands-on in active releases; track delivery, remove blockers, ensure quality.
• Deep release governance; go/no-go decisions; enforce sign-offs.
• Strong manual, API, backend testing and automation; able to review QA output.
• Root-cause analysis across frontend/backend; drive process/tooling improvements.
• Collaborative leadership; influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
