Quality Control Auditor

📋 Description

• Conduct quality control audits of mortgage originations and servicing to ensure compliance.
• Review loan files, underwriting decisions, and processes to identify deficiencies and trends.
• Partner with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve audit findings.
• Analyze audit results and root causes; prepare actionable reports.
• Prepare responses to external audit findings and assist with self-reporting to investors.
• Stay current on federal and state regulations affecting mortgage operations.

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years experience performing mortgage origination or servicing QC.
• 1+ years reviewing mortgage files for compliance with investor/agency guidelines.
• Knowledge of TRID and federal mortgage regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
