Quality Control Senior Microbiologist

📋 Description

• Performs microbiological quality control testing of cosmetic products, OTC products, and related
• Independently performs routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process materials
• Completes testing with a high degree of efficiency, reliability, and accuracy.
• Performs routine laboratory activities, including the proper use, care, and operation of laboratory
• Logs samples received into the laboratory and assesses their integrity upon receipt.
• Performs assigned work in a timely and safe manner conforming to regulatory, company, and

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of microbiological principles, aseptic techniques, compendial testing methods
• Ability to effectively communicate testing status and special project updates to management and
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science field.
• Five (5) years of relevant microbiology laboratory experience preferred. An equivalent combination
• Language Ability: Ability to read and understand applicable compendial methods, SOPs, general
• Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole
