Quality Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead APQP implementation across new product intro and existing lines.
• Develop and maintain PPAP packages, Control Plans, and FMEA.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining the quality management system.
• Monitor and drive action from First Pass Yield, nonconformance, and RMA data with cross-functional
• Interface with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure conformance.
• Identify measurement and metrology technologies; evaluate new measurement/test tech.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years as a Quality Engineer in automotive/aerospace with APQP/PPAP ownership.
• Deep experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• IATF 16949 familiarity preferred but not required for certification purposes.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics: SPC, probability, Cpk/Ppk, Gage R&R/MSA.
• Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why, fishbone); Six Sigma a plus.
