Quality Engineering Lead

📋 Description

• Define the quality strategy and standards for the product, establish what good quality looks like
• Manage and develop a team of 1–2 Quality Engineers while remaining hands-on technically and
• Introduce meaningful quality feedback points throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements
• Review and challenge test plans before development work begins, ensuring appropriate coverage and
• Lead bug triage processes and maintain systems for tracking defects, identifying trends, and
• Personally perform exploratory testing on new and existing functionality, with particular attention

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building, shipping, and supporting production software as an engineer, quality engineer
• 2+ years leading or mentoring engineers as a manager or technical lead.
• Strong knowledge of quality tooling, including CI pipelines, automated testing, observability, and
• Ability to establish and raise quality standards for a product or codebase even when another
• Demonstrated ability to communicate objectively and clearly about software quality with both
• Ability to summarize quality trends for engineering and product leadership in concise, actionable
