Quality Inspector (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace and commercial parts
• Inspect supplied product per drawings/work orders to verify conformance
• In-process, visual and dimensional inspection of precision parts
• Collaborate with production to reduce defects
• Communicate and help resolve quality issues
• Document non-conformances and support continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years quality inspection in machine shop/manufacturing
• 1+ years blueprint reading and/or GD&T
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height/gauge, optical comparators
• Ability to review drawings and identify improper callouts per ASME Y14.5
• Strong Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel skills
