📋 Description

• Responsible for the maintenance of accreditation to ISO 17025, plus other accreditations and
• Ensure that the requirements of UKAS, business and customers are met within the scope of the
• Participate and facilitate external laboratory audits, including submission of pre-audit
• Maintain document control system for site specific documentation, prepare and amend quality
• Lead and monitor internal audit programme, carry out system audits and ensure method witness
• Monitor and verify completion of nonconformities raised during internal/external auditing and

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent working knowledge of the requirements of ISO17025.
• Proven experience of working in a UKAS accredited laboratory.
• Working experience in quality and/or quality control function.
• Proven experience of working in a quality role.
• Good auditing skills e.g. not swayed, or diverted, be inquisitive etc.
• A degree in chemistry /microbiology or related discipline, or equivalent laboratory experience
