R&D NGS Technician

📋 Description

• Process samples for developmental research as directed by the R&D team.
• Collaborate with the R&D Manager to ensure samples are processed in alignment with quality
• Support the upkeep and organization of the lab, including equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to the lab’s Quality Assurance (QA) system and follow all safety protocols.
• Contribute to and assist with R&D workflows including completing and maintaining lab
• Communicate results, challenges, and updates clearly and effectively with internal teams.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in an industry lab; preferred 1-3 years experience with sequencing.
• Familiarity with sequencing - library prep, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction.
• Willingness to receive training in molecular biology techniques and R&D protocols.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with high accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in recordkeeping.
