Radio Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide customer support to end users to triage faults/issues
• Provide 2nd line technical support to field-based engineers on radio faults
• Support radio networks' development, maintenance and optimisation
• Install, configure and test radio network equipment and software components
• Undertake repairs of handheld and rack-mounted radio equipment
• Attend customer sites for site surveys, maintenance and fault repair

🎯 Requirements

• 2nd Line radio repair experience including maintenance and fault resolution
• Antenna, PMR installation and decommissioning
• Experience of Tetra, microwave and DMR systems
• Personal and on-site health and safety
• Liaison with client and 3rd party contractors
• Understanding of IP networks/LAN and RF/electronic test equipment
