Rate Analyst - Global Forwarding

📋 Description

• Provide accurate freight quotes to clients, agents, and sales representatives within service
• Support freight operations and sales teams with rate requests and pricing analysis.
• Maintain quote logs, pricing records, and reporting tools.
• Update air and ocean freight carrier rates for assigned branch or market.
• Analyze carrier net rates to identify competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to review client quotations.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or transportation pricing.
• Associate's degree or post-secondary education.
• Knowledge of international air and ocean transportation and dangerous goods regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for freight rate evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-service mindset and problem-solving abilities.
