Reconciliation Specialist

📋 Description

• End-to-end reconciliation across internal systems, PGs, banks, settlements, and merchant reports.
• Analyze large transaction datasets to identify mismatches, pending settlements, duplicates, and exceptions.
• Monitor disputed transactions, track chargeback lifecycle, validate reversals, and recovery.
• Validate postings, track receivables, refunds, merchant payouts, and balance sheet adjustments.
• SQL data extraction and Python automation to drive reconciliation and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with banks and gateways; ensure internal controls and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• 3–6 years in payment reconciliation, fintech ops, gateway systems, or financial data analysis.
• Advanced SQL: query, join, and analyze complex relational databases.
• Python: scripting for data cleansing, manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), and automation.
• Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Domain Knowledge: MDR, settlements, chargebacks, payouts; Analytical mindset.
