Recovery & Restoration Consultant - Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

📋 Description

• Support IT recovery on on-prem endpoints, networks, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Rebuild Active Directory domains, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy to baseline.
• Restore and validate VM workloads (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and key servers.
• Recover Entra ID identities and CA policies; sync with on-prem AD via Entra Connect.
• Help rebuild Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams configurations.
• Validate backups (Veeam, Rubrik, Datto) and ensure isolated restore points.

🎯 Requirements

• Windows Active Directory fundamentals for auth/authorization.
• AD objects (users/computers/groups/OUs) and Domain Controllers.
• Distinguish local SAM vs Domain Admins; security implications.
• Identify domain controller authenticating against (LOGONSERVER, nltest, Get-ADDomainController).
• Group Policy basics; and PowerShell scripting for recovery tasks.
• Entra ID/Azure AD basics, Entra Connect, and MFA awareness.
