Refinery RBI Specialist - 12 months contract

📋 Description

• Develop, review, and enhance refinery-wide RBI frameworks, methodologies, procedures, and
• Conduct comprehensive RBI gap assessments against API 580, API 581, and recognised industry best
• Identify gaps and deficiencies in existing RBI methodologies, inspection strategies, risk
• Develop RBI improvement plans and implementation roadmaps with prioritised recommendations.
• Review and optimise Probability of Failure (PoF), Consequence of Failure (CoF), risk rankings, and
• Evaluate equipment damage mechanisms, corrosion management practices, and inspection effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related engineering
• Extensive experience in Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or
• Strong working knowledge of API 580 and API 581 standards.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting RBI gap assessments and developing refinery-wide RBI
• Strong understanding of PoF, CoF, risk ranking methodologies, damage mechanisms, corrosion
• Experience integrating RBI programmes with Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS).
