Refining and Petrochemical Process Optimization Engineer

📋 Description

• Apply chemical and process engineering to AI-driven optimization in refining and petrochemicals.
• Analyze process data, evaluate optimization models, and support live production improvements.
• Collaborate with plant engineers, operators, controls teams, and stakeholders.
• Translate complex concepts into practical recommendations and measurable outcomes for customers.
• Support implementation activities: commissioning, model validation, performance reviews, and training.
• Present optimization insights and business impact to customer teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–10 years of professional engineering experience within refining, petrochemical, NGL, ethanol, or related process industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong background in chemical engineering, process engineering, process optimization, or industrial operations.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15–30% to customer sites.
• Experience working directly with plant operations teams, process engineers, or industrial customers is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies.
