📋 Description

• Lead Anthropic's state and local government affairs across the Southern US.
• Build relationships with lawmakers, governors, AGs, and agencies.
• Coordinate with Policy, Communications, and Legal teams.
• Track AI policy developments and regulatory activity regionally.
• Represent Anthropic at hearings, events, and public forums.
• Based in Texas and travel regularly across the region.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in state/local government affairs or political strategy
• Experience with tech policy or emerging technology regulation
• Based in Texas or willing to relocate; able to travel regularly
• Able to translate complex technical topics for policymakers and the public
• Proven record delivering policy outcomes and building coalitions
• Strong communication and relationship-building with officials and organizations
