Regulated Messaging Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance messaging transport services using SMTP.
• Manage Windows Server and IIS infrastructure supporting regulated messaging workflows.
• Develop Python-based automation, integrations, and tools to improve efficiency.
• Design, deploy, and oversee messaging retention and archiving to meet global compliance.
• Configure and test Proofpoint Enterprise Archive solutions and retention capabilities.
• Implement and maintain compliance and retention governance for messaging/email.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering and architecture experience with Windows-based SMTP forwarding, email retention
• Hands-on experience with Windows IIS SMTP forwarding services (configuration, maintenance
• Practical experience with email retention, archiving, or electronic communications vaults.
• Experience administering Proofpoint Enterprise Archive; other Proofpoint products not substituting
• Strong Python skills for automation, integrations, scripting, and improvements.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
