Regulatory Affairs Director (P&C Insurance)

📋 Description

• Act as the named Nearmap contact across the filing lifecycle, from pre-filing consultation through
• Own Nearmap regulatory strategy, which includes where we will register, where and what we will
• Lead objection response strategy, drawing analytical inputs from actuarial and data science teams.
• Own advisory organization relationship and subscriber mechanics, establishing where requirements
• Develop recommendation on advisory organization registration beyond existing Arizona registration
• Partner with Legal on privilege, contractual, and compliance questions.

🎯 Requirements

• 8-12 years in property and casualty rate filings, regulatory affairs, or state product management
• Hands-on experience managing complete filing lifecycles and interacting directly with state
• Experience preparing regulator-ready materials: filing narratives, methodology summaries, actuarial
• Bachelor's degree in insurance, actuarial science, public policy, or related field, or equivalent
• Skills: Deep knowledge of SERFF and multi-state prior-approval processes; ability to translate
• Nice-to-have: Actuarial credentials (ASA/ACAS) or regulatory certification; prior regulator-side
