Regulatory and Compliance Counsel (f/m/d)

📋 Description

• Own EU/UK compliance strategy and policies (GDPR, DORA, AML).
• Co-own IT security with Engineering: ISO 27001, SOC2.
• Shape AI governance strategy and EU AI Act compliance.
• Point person for EU/UK regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Support regulatory analyses for market entry/go-to-market.
• Regulatory filings for M&A change-of-control and related actions.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (German Second State Exam, J.D., LL.B./LL.M. or equivalent).
• 2–3 years in compliance, risk or regulatory work, in-house preferred.
• Experience handling cross-border regulatory issues across entities.
• Affinity for IT security and security engineering.
• Interest in broader legal/operational work in a startup.
• Strong project management; English C1+ and German B2+.
