📋 Description

• Hybrid role in Waymo's Legal team focusing on regulatory and legislative issues for autonomous
• Develop vision, strategy, and implementation for regulatory compliance across US federal matters
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed regulatory considerations into project roadmaps.
• Respond to novel questions of law on diverse topics and provide pragmatic legal advice.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership
• 5+ years of experience as an attorney in firm, in-house, or government
• Experience with regulatory and legislative matters, rulemaking, and compliance programs for scaling
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to learn quickly about complex technology and translate into legal guidance
• Self-starter with attention to detail and awareness of broader business context
