Regulatory Specialist II

📋 Description

• Support permitting, field documentation, and regulatory strategy for environmental restoration
• Collaborate with project managers, scientists, and agency partners to ensure permit documents
• Translate complex scientific and design data into regulatory-ready documents
• Participate in calls with agency staff
• Help junior teammates interpret project plans and sampling protocols
• Draft documents, coordinate with agencies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, geology, biology, or a related natural or
• 2+ years of relevant environmental permitting or regulatory experience (or 1+ year with an advanced
• Experience supporting or drafting permit documents and reports (e.g., 404/401, NWP/IP, ESA, NPDES)
• Proficiency in field data collection and sampling protocols
• Ability to read and interpret maps, design plans, technical and financial documentation
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred)
