Release Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the release cycle: drive weekly releases to full production rollout.
• Keep production healthy: deploy config changes; resolve Terraform drift.
• Run the rotation: shield team from operational noise on a weekly rotation.
• Own CI health: keep master green; fix flaky tests.
• Incident coordination: coordinate during incidents; deploy hotfixes within maintenance windows.
• Make the next release easier: improve runbooks and handover.

🎯 Requirements

• Release & deployment experience: owned production deployments for distributed or cloud-hosted services.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform experience in AWS, GCP, and other cloud providers.
• Build system familiarity: read Bazel, Gradle, Maven, or CMake.
• CI/CD operations: keep CI healthy; investigate failures and flaky tests.
• Linux & shell: shell for log analysis, scripting, and debugging production issues.
• Async communication: strong written English.
