Remote Staff Pharmacist

📋 Description

• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness
• Validate prescription data entry performed by pharmacy technicians, ensuring transcription accuracy
• Perform daily prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to identify and resolve clinical flags
• Manage specialty medication handling requirements including cold-chain verification
• Provide proactive outbound patient counseling calls for new prescriptions, addressing drug
• Handle inbound clinical patient calls related to counseling and clinical inquiries, while directing

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Must reside and have an active Pharmacist License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy of
• Must be able to obtain Idaho Pharmacist License prior to start date
• Strong command of the English language (written and verbal); bilingual Spanish preferred for
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with strong attention to
