📋 Description

• Normalize plasma samples.
• Extract nucleic acids from whole blood, plasma, tissue using automated and manual methods.
• Perform library preparation for next-gen sequencing using automated and manual methods.
• Determine quantity and quality of nucleic acids using Quant-IT, Qubit, Nanodrop, BioAnalyzer, and qPCR.
• Load libraries onto next-gen sequencing platforms (NovaSeq, iSeq, MiSeq).
• Interpret data and determine appropriate next steps per outlined requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Masters degree or 3+ years of industrial/academic research experience
• Extremely familiar with good pipetting practices (single and multi-channel micropipettes)
• Hands-on library prep and NGS platforms (NovaSeq, MiSeq, iSeq)
• Hands-on nucleic acid techniques (purification, quantification, amplification)
• Operate independently in lab with minimal supervision and strong troubleshooting
• Knowledge of LIMS/database software; experience with laboratory automation is a plus
