Research Associate Scientist II

📋 Description

• Maintenance of cell cultures including advanced primary cells
• Techniques such as flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy and ELISA
• Troubleshooting and execution of co-cultures and complex in vitro model systems
• Work as a key member of the Oxford immunobiology team but collaborating and working on whatever
• Autonomously performing critical laboratory experiments and interpreting the data to drive the next
• Keeping up to date with developments in the literature in relation to technical aspects of drug

🎯 Requirements

• Bsc in a relevant discipline plus 2 years of industry experience, which may include placement years
• Enthusiasm for and commitment to drug discovery and drug development research
• Proven recent experience in Mammalian cell culture
• Cell biology techniques (such as flow cytometry; ELISA; fluorescence microscopy)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently with strong attention to detail
