Response Engineer - PhishGuard

📋 Description

• Monitor real-time email threat queues for attacks flagged by Cloudflare Email Security.
• Investigate submissions, perform proactive threat hunts, and quarantine malicious emails.
• Provide feedback to Detection Engineering to update ML models and share campaign data.
• Identify threat patterns by correlating telemetry to generate threat dossiers.
• Deliver crisis interventions and proactive notifications for high-dollar BEC threats.
• Lead onboarding for new customers, configure detection rules and allow/block lists.

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in CS, Info Sec, Info Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years tracking complex cyber campaigns using domains, IPs, and headers.
• Proven expertise defending against targeted phishing, invoice fraud, and BEC attacks.
• Deep knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC and forensic data interpretation.
• Hands-on with AI LLM tools (OpenCode or Windsurf) to automate daily analysis.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written, for stakeholders.
