📋 Description

  • Field-based role operating trucks, UTVs, brush cutters, chainsaws
  • GPS mapping to navigate and document field work
  • Herbicide application with backpack/hand sprayers
  • Identify native and invasive plants; support invasive species program
  • Plant and seed restoration projects; assist vegetation monitoring
  • Regional travel (VA/MD/DC) with overnight stays 2-4 nights

🎯 Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to field office
  • Keen interest in natural resources and outdoors
  • 1+ year ecological restoration experience
  • 1+ year herbicide mixing/applying experience
  • Commercial Pesticide Technician/Apprentice license preferred
