Retention & Merchandising Strategy Manager

📋 Description

• Define the strategy/roadmap for subscriptions and loyalty programs.
• Own retention/loyalty performance monitoring and reporting cadence.
• Develop LTV:CAC and retention modeling frameworks, translate data to recommendations.
• Inform merchandising for subscriptions/loyalty; design offers with the web team.
• Support the A/B testing roadmap for retention and site monetization; define metrics.
• Build business cases for new initiatives using performance data and insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years in management consulting, ecommerce, consumer brand, agency, or tech.
• Highly analytical; builds models, interprets data; Looker a plus.
• Strategic thinker who can execute cross-functionally.
• Fluent with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to work faster.
• Clear written and verbal communicator; comfortable presenting to leadership.
• Experience with subscription, loyalty, or DTC ecommerce; Shopify a plus.
