Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Execute significant portions of the monthly revenue close, including journal entries, deferred and
• Perform recurring usage / consumption completeness and billing-to-GL reconciliations; investigate
• Review customer contracts and apply established ASC 606 guidance to standard arrangements; escalate
• Support accounting for credits, refunds, contract modifications, cutoff, and variable
• Prepare revenue workpapers, audit support, and control evidence; support external audit
• Support accounting readiness and UAT for new products, pricing structures, billing models, and

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, SSP evaluation, variable
• Experience leading the revenue close: deferred revenue management, unbilled receivables, journal
• Track record of partnering with Sales and Legal on contract review and revenue impact assessments
• Experience operating in a pre-IPO or public company environment, with direct exposure to external
• CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification (active); Big 4 or public accounting background a strong plus
• Strong systems proficiency; Stripe, Metronome, HubiFi or a comparable revenue recognition tool
