Revenue Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Ensure proper application of ASC 606 to customer contracts, including subscription, usage-based and
• Review non-standard contract terms and prepare technical accounting analyses and documentation that
• Identify and implement opportunities to use automation, AI and other tools to streamline revenue
• Perform and review monthly accounting close activities and deliverables for revenue (i.e. journal
• Translate ASC 606 conclusions into system configuration, and manage and enhance revenue automation
• Execute and continuously improve month-end close accuracy and timeliness.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606, including usage-based or consumption-based revenue models and contract
• Experience with revenue automation tools and ERP/CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite ARM, Zone Billing
• Working knowledge of Claude, Codex, SQL, Python, BigQuery or advanced excel functionalities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing process
