📋 Description

• Conduct routine, focused, and validation audits of professional medical coding across multiple
• Ensure coding practices align with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, payer-specific guidelines, and applicable
• Investigate coding errors and recurring discrepancies, track audit results and quality metrics
• Provide actionable audit feedback, mentor coding staff, and develop and deliver individual or group
• Create educational resources, reference guides, and coding documentation while supporting the
• Serve as a coding subject matter expert for assigned clients, participate in client meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Three to five years of medical coding auditing experience, with demonstrated expertise in
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, payer-specific coding guidelines, and applicable
• Proven ability to interpret clinical documentation, apply appropriate coding principles, identify
